Interesting cartoon. Can you elaborate a little more on the thoughts behind it? Is the movie "Forest Gump" supposed to be one of the clues? Are the aisle markers another clue?
I've received a number of "head scratching" comments on this cartoon which I understand. I don't think I've nailed the punch line yet. I love the concept though of two little boys discussing whether or not they believe in Destiny which Buddy defines as a "predetermined path and purpose" while they're walking through a predetermined path. Maybe the punch line should be "Whatever gave you this idea, Patrick?"
